The 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit opens in Bangkok
(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam leads the Vietnamese delegation attending the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit opened today in Bangkok, Thailand. On Sunday, the ACD Connect Business Forum 2016 offered an opportunity for representatives from the private sector across Asia to discuss innovative ideas for submission to regional authorities at their dialogue the following day.
Financial technology and financing infrastructure were two major topics of discussion among 500 participants from 34 ACD member States. In his speech opening the forum, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha highlighted the key role of enterprises to the regional growth. He said the forum clearly demonstrated the idea of “One Asia, Diverse Strength” where all countries work together and no one is left behind.
Established in 2002, The Asia Cooperation Dialogue consists of 34 countries from the Asian region, with Nepal being the latest member.
