The capital city celebrates 1010th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Buddhist Shangha held a ritual in Hanoi’s Tran Quoc Pagoda on Friday to pray for peace and happiness on the occasion of the 1010th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

On Sunday, Hoan Kiem District People’s Committee held a ceremony to mark the completion of a project to renovate Hoan Kiem Lake’s surrounding areas after 5 months of work. The project was to mark the 1010th anniversary of the capital city and Hanoi’s 17th Party Congress.
