(VOVworld) - US Ambassador Ted Osius has announced the US doubling of its budget for the clearance of unexploded ordnances left after the war in Vietnam. The announcement was made during a meeting between Minister of Defense Phung Quang Thanh and the US Ambassador in Hanoi on Friday. General Thanh said Vietnam and the US have seen more positive development in bilateral ties. He asked Ambassador Osius to continue support and build up better relations between the US and Vietnam.
