Third annual plum festival in Son La province
(VOVworld) – The third plum festival opened in Moc Chau district in Son La province on Sunday. The event promotes Moc Chau plums and provides an opportunity for local growers to share farming techniques.

Visitors helped farmers harvest their plums and enjoyed the fruit right off the tree. Traditional games were organized, according to Nguyen Thi Thuy, a visitor from Hanoi: “This is the first time I’ve participated in a plum festival in Son La. I’m very happy. I hope such a festival will be held annually to attract more tourists.”
