(VOVworld) - There were three Vietnamese out of nearly 300 victims aboard Malaysian Airlines MH17 aircraft which was shot down in Eastern Ukraine on July 17. Three victims were identified as Nguyen Ngoc Minh, 37, Dang Minh Chau, 17 and Dang Quoc Huy, 13.

Three Vietnamese are among MH71 plane crash victims

After receiving the information that three Vietnamese were among the victims, Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has immediately worked with all related sides to collect more information related to the victims and help their family with necessary legal procedures.

Earlier, Malaysian ambassador to the UN Hussein Haniff reported 298 victims of the MH17 plane crash including 192 Dutch, 44 Malaysian, 27 Australian, 12 Indonesian, 9 British, 4 German, 4 Belgian, 3 Pilipino, 1 Canadian, 1 New Zealand, and 1 has not been identified yet.
