Ms. Ngan called on Kazakhstan to support the stance of Vietnam and ASEAN of addressing conflicts using peaceful means, instead of use or threat of force, based on international law, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, fully implementing the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties (DOC) in the East Sea towards a Code of Conduct (COC) in the East Sea, thus contributing to maintaining peace, stability, and development in the region.
