(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai hosted a reception on Friday for Charles R. Kaye, CEO of Warburg Pincus, one of the United State’s leading investment funds.

At the meeting, the CEO said he appreciates Vietnam’s macro-economic stability and shared Warburg Pincus’ plans to continue expanding investment in Vietnam in the coming time, adding that his fund had found success in Vietnam over the past 10 years with a total capital of 2 billion USD.
He also said that there are currently many large US businesses showing interest in investing in Vietnam.
Deputy Prime Minister Khai welcomed the fund’s upcoming plans and said he hopes Warburg Pincus will continue to expand partnerships with local firms, invest in new projects in Vietnam, and serve as a bridge to bring US and foreign investors to Vietnam.
He acknowledged the fund’s feedback and asked relevant ministries to discuss this further and work together to resolve any obstacles to success.
