(VOVworld) – Nice weather boosted domestic tourism during the recent 4-day holiday. More than 61,000 tourists visited Ha Long Bay between April 30 and May 2. On May 1, Ha Long Bay received 26,000 visitors, five times the normal volume.

Approximately 230,000 tourists, including more than 42,000 foreign visitors, came to Hanoi during the holiday, 14 percent more than last year. Hanoi’s most popular attractions include the Temple of Literature, Thang Long Royal Citadel, the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple.

220,000 tourists came to Da Nang, 25% above last year. The number of foreign tourists visiting Da Nang continues its steady growth. Most of them are from China, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, the EU, and the US.
