(VOVworld) – A seminar on negotiations of the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) and prospects for its members opened on Wednesday in Mexico.

Trade Counselor Hoang Tuan Viet highlighted TPP establishment and opportunities and challenges for Vietnam as a TPP member. He said the Agreement will pave the way for Vietnam to approach the global market to foster exports and attract more foreign investment while heightening the country’s position in the global arena. However, Viet said that Vietnam is aware of the pressure of opening the market and increasing domestic businesses’ competitiveness.
