(VOVworld) – A seminar entitled “Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement and what enterprises need to know” was held on Friday in Hanoi. Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vu Tien Loc said the TPP will form a free trade area with a population of 800 million, accounting for 30 percent of global trade turnover and nearly 40 percent of global output.

Loc said every business individual and organization should improve their knowledge about this agreement and commitments, especially those affecting their business and production activities: "VCCI will cooperate with the government’s TPP negotiation team to devise a program to help enterprises better understand TPP and its commitments. Seminars on this topic will be held across Vietnam. We will also set up an online info center on TPP, and plan to compile booklets for certain sectors."
