The provincial government has created new policies to support establishments participating in the One Commune One Product Program – susidizing package design and product labels up to 420 USD per product, and subsidizing half of all machinery, equipment, and production lines for each OCOP facility up to a maximum of 13,000 USD.
Nguyen Quynh Thien, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said OCOP items are one of the key products of the locality.
“We have established a Steering Committee to mobilize resources and agencies to raise awareness about OCOP product development. Tra Vinh’s products, especially the export items, need national certification as well as OCOP recognition,” said Thien.
Since 2019 Tra Vinh has recognized 108 OCOP products.
