(VOVworld) – A conference to promote trade, investment, and tourism in Binh Dinh province will be held in Quy Nhon city on April 3, according to a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Provincial leaders will announce a tourism development plan until 2020 with a vision to 2030, policies to attract investment, and a number of new tourism projects. Cooperative agreements on tourism development between Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak province will be signed. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh provincial People’s Committee, said: “We have established a steering committee for tourism development to turn tourism into a spearhead economy. Priority will be given to developing Quy Nhon into a marine tourism site. Local infrastructure will be upgraded to attract more tourists. Tourism promotion and human resource development will be prioritized.”

The province will organize fact-finding tours for investors.
