(VOVworld) - Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang will represent Vietnam at an APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting in Indonesia over the weekend.

Delegates will discuss support for multilateral trade and APEC priorities in 2013 – the two main issues host Indonesia has suggested in its program of action for the APEC Leaders’ Summit. The focus of discussion will be trade liberalization and investment in infrastructure development to turn APEC into an open free trade area by 2020.  During his stay, Minister Hoang is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings to discuss issues of mutual concern.
