Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man joins Defense Ministry leaders in the spring tree planting festival in Hanoi, February 17, 2024.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man said that nearly 770 million trees have been planted across the country over the past three years as part of the project to plant one billion trees under a decision by the Prime Minister.   

"It is important to promote President HCM’s appeal for tree planting among the public and adopt more incentives to encourage soldiers nationwide to participate in this movement," he said.

In Da Nang City, local authorities and people planted 1,000 trees in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park. 

"Da Nang aims to plant 5 million trees by 2025. Trade union members and workers are joining hands to build a green, clean, and beautiful city," said Le Van Dai, Vice Chairman of the municipal Trade Union.
