The museum will cover an area of 1.7 hectares and will be connected with the Gac Ma soldiers memorial site – an underground space with 64 flowers surrounding the national flag, symbolizing the 64 soldiers who have sacrificed their lives to defend Vietnam’s sea and islands.
Inside the museum will be an open space with views of the sea. Each display area will have a theme. The Truong Sa museum and the Gac Ma soldiers memorial will be a cultural and inspirational tourist destination.
“The Truong Sa museum will teach people about Truong Sa, encouraging them to contribute more to the development of Truong Sa,” said Nguyen Van Nhuan, Director of Khanh Hoa province’s Department of Culture and Sports.
