(VOVworld) - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Wednesday urged all nations participating in the war against the Islamic State (IS) to wipe out the force by conducting air strikes and a ground offensive.

Mevlut said the current air strikes against IS are not effective and emphasized the need for a ground offensive. Turkey shares a 1,200 km border with Syria and Iraq and faces threats from Islamic State militants in both countries.
