Turkey hopes Ukraine ceasefire negotiations can start soon
(VOVWORLD) - Turkey hopes talks on a ceasefire in Ukraine will start soon, said Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday at the end of a diplomatic forum in the southern city of Antalya.

Fidan met Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Friday on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where the two officials discussed a number of issues, including Ukraine.
Fidan said it’s time to start a dialogue on a ceasefire, but the issue of sovereignty should be discussed separately.
He insisted that the fighting is causing major damage and needs to end, adding all parties involved should get familiar with this idea.
