Turkey warned of sanctions over 'provocations' in Mediterranean
(VOVWORLD) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that sanctions against Turkey have been taken into consideration if Turkey does not stop provocation related to disputes in the Eastern Mediterranean.

She urged Ankara to pursue dialogue with both Greece and Cyprus in settling what the EU considers illegal infringement in Cypriot waters.
In a statement, the bloc warned of consequences otherwise, according to von der Leyen.
