(VOVworld) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Tuesday for ground troops to be deployed in the Syrian border town of Kobane after his warning that Kobane teeters are on the verge of falling under the control of the Islamic State (IS). Erdogan said air strikes by the US-led international coalition were not enough to help Kurdish soldiers halt IS's advances, adding that he has already talked this with Western members of the coalition.
