TV serial “Who stole my heart?” wins 4 Golden Kite Awards
(VOVWORLD) - The TV serial “Thương Nhớ Ở Ai” (Who Stole My Heart?) won 4 Golden Kite Awards 2017: Best TV Serial, Best Director, Best Cameraman, and Best Supporting Actor. The story follows women in the post-war period who desire to love and be loved.

“Cô Ba Sài Gòn” (The Tailor) won Best Feature Film and Best Screenwriter at the award ceremony took place in Hanoi on Sunday. The Tailor, which beat 13 other nominees, is a romantic comedy about the Saigon lifestyle and the history of the “áo dài” (Vietnam’s traditional long dress).

People’s Artist Dang Xuan Hai, Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association, said: “There has been a long absence of feature films about Vietnam’s revolution, war time, or renewal process, which has made us rethink the way we invest in film production. We intend to create cinematic works full of Vietnamese culture.”
This year, 117 movies vied for the Golden Kite Awards, sponsored by the Vietnam Cinema Association.
