(VOVworld) – A twin bombing on Sunday in front of the office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Party (PUK) in Diyala province, 120 km northeast of Baghdad killed 19 and injured 65.

A suicide bomber blew himself up in front of the party office and minutes later a car bomb exploded nearby when security forces gathered at the scene of the first explosion. No organization has claimed responsibility for the attacks but Sunni rebels are believed to be behind the incident.
