(VOVWORLD) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen have agreed they will make a "firm decision" on a post-Brexit trade deal by Sunday amid warnings that "very large gaps remain" in their negotiations.

The British Prime Minister’s Office said this came after the two met in Brussels for three hours on Wednesday. Johnson said he does not want to leave any route to a possible deal untested.
