Mrs. May told MPs she will continue to work to gain an agreement on a Brexit deal.

The Times newspaper on Wednesday reported that  EU officials are examining plans to delay Brexit until 2020 rather than a previously suggested three-month period, after Germany and France indicated their willingness to extend withdrawal negotiations amid British political turmoil.

Prior to the no confidence vote, PM May said Britain will be leaving the EU on March 29, saying an election would be the worst thing Britain could do.
