UK Royal Navy ship visits Hai Phong
(VOVWORLD) - The UK Royal Navy vessel HMS Enterprise arrived at Tan Vu port in the northern city of Hai Phong on Wednesday, beginning a week-long visit to Vietnam.

During their stay in Vietnam, the HMS Enterprise crew will pay courtesy visits to leaders of the municipal People’s Committee and the Naval Command. They will leave Hai Phong for other destinations next Tuesday.
Ahead of the trip, British Ambassador to Vietnam Gareth Ward said this is the 2nd visit of a British royal naval ship to Vietnam, reflecting the UK’s commitments to Asia-Pacific regional security and its wishes to share its experiences with naval forces of other countries, including the Vietnam People's Navy.
