(VOVworld) - Britain's jobless rate has fallen to 7.4% with 2.39 million people out of work from August to October, the lowest level since April, 2009.
The Office for National Statistics announced on Wednesday that the number of people employed is more than 30 million, up 500,000 from a year ago. Employment Minister Esther McVey said this is really encouraging news, adding that this shows the Government's long-term economic plan to get people off benefits and into jobs is proving successful.
