Humanitarian corridors have helped to open safe passages from five towns in Zaporizhzhia and five towns and villages in Luhansk in southern Ukraine. A humanitarian corridor has also been set up to facilitate civilians leaving Mariupol in Donetsk by private means. On Tuesday, about 3,800 people were evacuated from conflict-affected areas in Ukraine.

Since launching a special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Government has allocated 220 million rubles (2.8 million USD) for the provision of medical services for Ukrainian citizens evacuated to Russia.

On Wednesday, the Governor of the Rostov region of Russia, Vasily Golubev, said that the Russian Government had approved a decision to increase the money given to each evacuee from Donetsk and Luhansk, who are living in temporary accommodations, from 800 rubles to 1,300 rubles a day. Earlier, the Rostov government allocated 800 million rubles (10 million USD) to provide food aid to residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
