Michael Gove, the government minister in charge of Brexit preparations, insists that the UK has the means and the ability to leave the EU on 31 October. Johnson sent the letter requesting a Brexit delay at the insistence of parliament, but the MPs could not shake the Prime Minister’s determination to go through with Brexit on schedule, with no delay.
UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said the government has the support of enough MPs to pass its Brexit deal in the Commons. He said he believes the UK will leave the EU by the end of the month.
