French President Francois Hollande and President Rouhani met same day to discuss the current instability in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, the global fight against terrorism, and Iran’s controversial nuclear program.

Hollande said that countries should gear up efforts to reach a political solution to the Middle East crisis, and said he hopes negotiations between Iran and P5+1 will have a quick resolution. He called on Iran to take concrete steps to prove that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.
