UN chief regrets North Korea’s decision to cut hotlines with South Korea
(VOVWORLD) - UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Wednesday said he regrets that North Korea severed hotlines with South Korea.

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said June marks the second anniversary of the first meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the 20th anniversary of the first meeting between the leaders of the two Koreas.
The Secretary-General said he hopes all parties will use the June anniversaries to redouble their efforts to achieve a sustainable peace and a complete, verifiable denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
