(VOVworld) - The UN Security Council delegation led by US ambassador to UN Samantha Power arrived in South Sudan on Friday, to push for the deployment of 4,000 regional protection force in the world's youngest nation.

Ms. Power said the 15-member delegation will discuss with South Sudan government and the opposition parties on the implementation of a peace agreement signed in August 2015. She said the delegation will also push for the humanitarian activities, refugees, and establishment of an international court to end impunity for crimes committed during the country's nearly 2 years of conflict, which broke out in December 2013.
