The Council’s 50th session, which concluded on Friday in Geneva, gave top priority to women's rights topic.

The Vietnamese delegation, led by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Do Hung Viet, together with Bangladesh and the Philippines co-hosted the Symposium on ensuring the rights of vulnerable groups in the context of climate change.

The Vietnamese delegation opened a “Photo exhibition on ethnic and religious communities in Vietnam: Harmony in Diversity" at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, on June 28, the Vietnamese Family Day.

Vietnam, which is running for Council membership for the 2023-2025 term, has worked hard to win international support for its bid.
