(VOVworld) - The UN Security Council has strongly condemned the Islamic State’s "heinous and cowardly" executions of two hostages: Fan Jinghui of China and Ole Johan Grimsgaard – Ofstad of Norway. A statement from the Security Council said these crimes once again demonstrate the brutality of IS, which is responsible for thousands of crimes and abuses against people from all faiths, ethnicities and nationalities, and without regard to any basic value of humanity". The council said the perpetrators should be brought to justice and that IS must be defeated.
