(VOVworld) - The U.S. Department of State has announced that the seventh session of the US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED) will be held in Washington, DC, in June 23 and 24. At this Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED), discussions will focus on challenges and opportunities that the two countries are facing on bilateral, regional, and global fields.

US and China to hold Strategic, Economic and Security Dialogue

Besides, the two sides will exchange views on strategic and economic importance for the US and China in the long term.  The sixth Consultation on People-to-People Exchange (CPE) will be held concurrently with the S&ED. Deputy Secretary of States Antony Blinken will co-host the fifth Strategic Security Dialogue (SSD) with his Chinese counterpart, Executive Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui, next Monday. At the SSD, senior civilian and military officials will exchange views on a range of security issues of strategic importance to both countries.
