(VOVworld) – The US overtook France to become Germany’s most important trading partner in 2015, according to Destatis, Germany’s Federal Statistical Office.
Goods worth 173.2 billion euros changed hands between Germany and the US last year. German exports totalled 113.9 billion euros.
The German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) said that this development reflects a long-term trend and the US’s dynamic economic growth.
