US becomes India's biggest trading partner in fiscal year 2023

(VOVWORLD) - The US is India's biggest trading partner in the 2022-2023 financial year, with economic ties increasing between the two countries.
According to India’s Commerce Ministry, bilateral trade between India and the US totaled more than 128 billion USD in 2022-23, up 7.65%.
Exports to the US rose 78 billion USD, while imports grew to 50 billion USD.
America is one of the few countries with which India has a trade surplus.
