US calls for humanitarian aid for Nagorno-Karabakh
(VOVWORLD) - The death toll from an explosion and fire at a fuel depot in Nagorno-Karabakh rose to 68, with a further 105 people missing and some 300 injured.

During a visit to Armenia on Tuesday, USAID administrator Samantha Power announced humanitarian assistance worth 11.5 million USD to address health care and other emergency needs.
The same day, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken made a phone call to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, during which he insisted on protecting civilians in Nagorno-Karabakh and allowing them to access humanitarian aid.
Blinken also called for more humanitarian assistance for the region.
