US, Cuba boost cooperation in law enforcement
(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, the US and Cuba held a 2
nd law enforcement dialogue in Havana to promote bilateral cooperation.

According to Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after the first dialogue last November in Washington, the 2
nd took place in a spirit of mutual respect and a professional manner. The two sides agreed to sign bilateral documents.
Law enforcement is an area of mutual interest for the United States and Cuba and needs specific bilateral cooperation in the areas of drug and human trafficking, and illegal migration. But this also relates to the US’s migrants preferential policy towards Cuba or wanted criminals who shelter in each other’s country.
