(VOVworld)- The United States and Cuba will hold a new round of negotiations next week in Washington on re-opening their embassies, the latest step in their historic rapprochement, according to US and Cuban officials on Wednesday.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez told media that the negotiations will discuss re-establishing Cuba-US ties but the exact date has not yet been set. The third round of US-Cuba negotiations took place in Havana on March 17.
