(VOVWORLD) - The US government has denied any involvement in the purported drone attack targeting the Kremlin on Wednesday, and says Russia's accusations against the US are baseless.

Speaking at a Thursday press conference, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the US was not involved in the attack and is doing its best to figure out what happened.
Russia says it is well aware that decisions about such terrorist attacks are made, not in Kyiv, but in Washington.
