US ends J&J COVID-19 vaccine pause
(VOVWORLD) - US health regulators have lifted an 11-day pause on the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID-19 jab, but will add a warning label about the potential for extremely rare blood clots.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said the risks of experiencing the syndrome involving severe blood clots and low platelets as a result of the vaccine was very low. They found 15 cases in the 8 million shots given.
This week, Europe's drug regulator also ended restrictions on the J&J vaccine.
