US helps VATM improve aviation weather forecasting
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) and the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will sign a pilot technical assistance agreement worth 1.3 million USD on improving aviation weather forecasting capacity in Vietnam, the Corporation said.

Aviation meteorology service is one of five flight operations assurance services provided by VATM.
The pilot project on improving aviation weather forecasting capacity in Vietnam will enable meteorologists and users including air traffic management (ATM) and air traffic flow management (ATFM) to access advanced forecasting technology and high-precision products that match the operation needs.
