US, Israel vow to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons

(VOV) – The US and Israel have completed their latest talks on Iran’s nuclear program. The meeting between US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came as increasing alarm over Iran’s nuclear program raises the probability of a preemptive Israeli strike at Iran’s nuclear sites. Obama reiterated his policy of exhausting all diplomatic and economic options before restoring to military options:
“As I said we always back when it comes to Israel’s security. As I said earlier, every plan is on the table. Israeli Prime Minister and I are close to resolve the problem is diplomatic channel. We understand the costs of any military action”.
Netanyahu said that although Israel and the US are allies, Tel Aviv still must decide its own fate.
