This dialogue, a key deliverable from the historic 2023 Camp David Summit, will reaffirm the importance of trilateral cooperation in advancing a free and open, connected, prosperous, secure, and resilient Indo-Pacific region.
This dialogue will focus on using the three countries’ collective capacity to strengthen cooperation on economic security, critical emerging technologies, and maritime security, as well as coping with threats in the region and globally.
Mr. Campbell will also meet with his counterparts in separate bilateral engagements. This Thursday Campbell and Okano will participate in the inaugural meeting of the US-Japan Strategic Diplomacy and Development Dialogue, along with USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman.
On Friday Campbell will meet with Kim to discuss the crucial role of the US-ROK Alliance in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
