(VOVworld) – US President Barack Obama will send two officials to attend the funeral of Cuban leader Fidel Castro in Havana, the White House said Tuesday. Attending the funeral will be Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes and Ambassador Jeffrey DeLaurentis, the chief US diplomat in Havana.
The statement was released one day after an announcement of the White House saying that the death of Fidel Castro is unlikely to slow down US efforts to normalize relations with Cuba.
