Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein officially filed a request with election officials on Monday to conduct a recount in 100 precincts in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Stein has raised 6.3 million USD to pay for vote recounts in the three battleground states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, where Donald Trump barely edged out Hillary Clinton.

Despite concerns over the US economy under Trump’s administration, the Organization for Economic and Cooperation Development (OECD) released a projection that the President-elect’s public expense and tax reduction policies will help double the US’s economic growth in the coming years. OECD estimates that the US economy will grow 2.3% in 2017 and 3% in 2018 compared with this year’s GDP growth of 1.5%.
