US proposes new round of trade talks with China
(VOVWORLD) - The US government has proposed a new round of high-level trade talks with China aimed at halting further escalation of the bilateral trade war that began in July.

US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin invited Vice Premier Liu He and President Xi Jinping’s top economic adviser for negotiations before the US imposes another 200 billion USD worth of tariffs on China.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 posted small gains Wednesday on the possibility of renewed trade talks between the US and China.
