US reiterates commitment to dialogue with North Korea
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy US Secretary of State Stephen Biegun has urged North Korean leaders to return to talks on denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, the US State Department said Wednesday.

A State Department spokesperson said Biegun reaffirmed the US’s commitment to the US-South Korea alliance and expressed appreciation for Seoul's continued coordination on the COVID-19 response. Biegun pledged US support for inter-Korean cooperation and readiness to engage in dialogue with North Korea to pursue complete denuclearization.
