Pentagon spokesman Jeff Davis told reporters on Friday that the US will not collaborate or coordinate with Russia in any military operations in Syria. The statement came after Russia proposed to the US, as the head of the International Syria Support Group, to take part in joint operations. The airstrikes are against al-Nusra front and other illegal armed groups who do not support a truce mediated by Russia and the US. According to Russia, airstrikes will target the movement of ammunition and weapons into Syria across the Turkish border.
