US, Russia discuss the situation in Nagorny Karabakh
(VOVworld) – US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke on the phone Monday about ending the violence on the Nagorny Karabakh border and getting Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume negotiations under the auspices of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). They expressed concern about the situation in Nargony Karabakh and called on both countries to immediately halt their military actions.

The Armenian Defense Ministry said Monday that fighting continues along the Nagorny Karabakh border and accused Azerbaijan of using heavy weaponry and drones to change the situation on the ground. It said Armenian units destroyed five tanks, three drones, and inflicted troop casualties.
