(VOVworld) – US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Cambodia Monday evening on an official visit which aimed to boost bilateral cooperation between Cambodia and the US.

Kerry is scheduled to discuss with Prime Minister Hun Sen and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong on the ongoing economic relationship between the two countries and an impending US-ASEAN meeting in Sunnylands, California next month. Kerry arrived in Cambodia after he had visited Laos, the acting president of ASEAN. The visit came on the sidelines of an important summit between US President Barack Obama and ASEAN leaders to take place next month.
